Food was good as well as the service

Food is good, but wait staff is inattentive and unorganized. Waiter had to ask what our order was multiple times (write it down please). Also did not notice water was not full. Also took 15 minutes before coming to take our order when the restaurant was empty. Would have given 5 stars otherwise.

I ended up here after being turned away at anther restaurant and I must say I couldn't have been happier. First of all: best samosas in LA! And the butter chicken was inspired. My server Mike was extremely knowledgeable and there was never a moment where here allowed me to want for anything. My new fav DT.nothing bad to say.

Don’t usually write reviews, but this place has some delicious Indian food.Personal favorite is chicken biryani and chicken korma.

Goat Curry is so good. Big portion, so spicy it makes my head sweat. But I can't stop eating it. Tandoor chicken is well executed, not overly dry, and kids loved it.

One of my favorite places for delicious asian food. I'll return with my coworkers. Prices are reasonable I would say.

This is one of those dive spots that you can miss if you are not paying attention. This place is authentic and good. They staff were very nice and got us what we needed when we needed it. The food was good I got the curry masala and some cheese bread. It was amazing. It seems a little older and not very modern but still was a great experience. I would reccomend you try this place.

Pretty good food and good service!

It is good place to have a Natural Himalayan Dishes . We order chicken chowmin and chicken mo:mo ! I love the chowmin and it’s spice level which is perfect But the mo : mo is not that good , it’s little bit oily inside . It’s an nice place to have an lunch or dinner . They have buffet in lunch and in the matter of customer service they are great in that ! In the clean and nice environment they serve the Halal food as well . It is not that bad place to having a indian and Himalayan dishes together. Simply recommend.

Been here numerous times and there is always a wait and for good reason. Breakfast is made to order and have never had a bad meal. My favorite is any of the Eggs Benedict they serve and they serve about 8 different types.

This place is good to relax, have a nice meal and the service is friendly. This family business appreciates you! My friend and I were hungry and ordered way too much food and have enough leftovers for both of us to have a meal tomorrow We had a vegetable rice dish and spinach with handmade cheese. We ordered it with medium level spice and found it to be a little too spicy for our taste. We also had samosa and some garlic nan. We also ordered a small helpping of white rice. Every dish was made to perfection. Each dish had a special sauce .The sauces we oh so good!This is one of my favorite Indian food places in the city. The meal came to $32.+ tipI like the family style "home" cooking that this place specializes in.

Went here on a Thursday for a team lunch.. we went for the buffet option. Food tasted not great.. it was okay, nothing notable. The naans we're freshly served. Desserts were very bad!

Me and my wife were pretty hungry when we reached there, sadly could not find a parking spot as it was long weekend. Finally we parked the car .5 miles away walked down to fill our stomach. Ordered chicken and House Biriyani. I won't say they were great, the appetite to have food made me eat. Then while taking the both Biriyanis I understood there is no difference in terms of taste it was just the meat. Also the masalas were totally not blended properly. I was wonder why there was tamarind in Biriyani that too with seed 😤. Then I had ordered Tandoori Fish which was not even Ok. The edges over burnt but it was cold and we said we don't want it( they offered us it for free) we didn't want to take it. May be it was not my day sadly.

Free Chai Tea! Amazing Buffet with fresh curry and Naan bread +more. Their menu also looked really great too. The staff was so nice and welcoming. Beautiful atmosphere inside. The owner Sangam was super friendly as well. We will definitely at here again.

I thought this was going to be another Indian restaurant. It’s not! The food is delicious and the Garlic Naan and Rotis are the best I’ve had in a long long time. Location is also fantastic to visit after coming down from the Coit tower. Highly recommend!

Hey good and fast. There was nobody there when I was but delivery drivers were coming at a rate of 1 or 2 a minute. Seems to be popular.

I regularly arrive getting some food in this place. I enjoyed the speedy customer service and well prepared food. They never disappoint.

Taste is good I’m sure about it but small amount of food for that price$$$$ Let’s go to Shalimar hhhh

Ordered chicken tikka masala, plain naan, and side of basmati rice. Everything was delicious (and the medium spice level was perrfect) and it was delivered via grubhub on time. Wish I was staying in SF longer to try more of their items but I’m sure it’s all good!

Great take out. Delicious lunch buffet. All the seasoning and spice blends are perfectly balanced. Basic interior and friendly service.

This new management has turned things around. They serve great tasting food. The 5 star for me was the food that are not too oily and too much spices unlike in other ordinary Indian or similar cuisine. This management has brought the Nepalese flavors with really healthier options. Great foods, great service, welcoming staffs. Gotta check it out.

Ordered online and then walked down to pickup. The place was closed for what was clearly a family party and they said they had turned all the apps off. I showed them my receipt to ask them to cancel the order but instead they told me to wait 3 minutes while they whipped up my dinner. Lovely people!

Good vegetarian options. All the fresh hot naan you can eat!

This place is popular for their authentic food. They call it Nepali and Indian food, Asian food. Pretty good flavors on every dishes. Place is on broadway so this place is pretty busy on weekends. Not that expensive considering you get the good quality and quantity. Ask your server if they have any specials of the day.

I cannot get enough of this place!I'm not the type of person to go to a restaurant repeatedly as I usually want to try new places. This is especially true in SF since there are just so many amazing local restaurants. Urban Curry is one of my rare exceptions. I keep getting food from this place over and over and it never gets old. It's just that good! I don't know what they make their food with but it feels like comfort food.I think what helps is that the naan is as tasty as the dishes themselves. I'm a fan of the Tikka Masala, the wife loves the Saag Paneer. But we almost love the naan better. First we discovered the potato naan and then recently discovered the cheese naan. I definitely look forward to getting the naan every time.So yes, you should definitely go here!

Very good place. I came here with my family of 12 people very late in the afternoon. They served lunch with no restrictions. I have been craving for momos since long and these people have very good momos. The food overall is very nice and would definitely recommend this place.
